(Solo development thread for Byrar and his Pokemon. Will probably be used mainly as "filler" posts between other threads.)
This post takes place after A New Home.Aside from dropping off his pack in his room of this new house -- a modest little place that he was assured could get expanded should he wish down the line -- one of the first things Bryar did on his new land was take a leisurely walk around the perimeter.
Poppy and Lily were somewhat accompanying him on his walk -- rather, Poppy was close by him while Lily went off if something caught her attention before returning to his side when she was done investigating -- and Bryar trusted the rest of his team to explore their new home on their own. Granted, most were probably trying to figure out a spot for themselves in the barn.
Bryar was trying to create a mental list of what he needed to do now that he officially moved onto Gaia Island. One was to see how fertile the soil on his land was. A nice garden for berries and apricorns was a goal of his.
He would also need to figure out his list of Pokemon. While a good amount of his team were compatible with each other, there was definitely a size difference between some of them...
He'd figure it out. Once his house and barn were set up and cleaned to his satisfaction, he would have to visit some of the other stalls in the marketplace. He hoped to buy some eggs from the others, a move that would help both them and him.
There were so many possibilities for his new life, and Bryar was looking forward to it.

Takes place after the first clutch request for Lily and Cliff.Lily had three eggs, and his Leafeon seemed proud of her work. Bryar was also proud of his Pokemon, but he honestly wasn't expecting a clutch of eggs so quickly after moving onto their ranch. Evidently, Lily got busy with one of her teammates and, despite how shy he was at the best of times, Cliff was the confirmed father.
"They're beautiful," Bryar said to his Leafeon, and got to work on taking care of the eggs. This was routine for him, considering his past. He needed to keep them just warm enough so they would live but not hatch without proper homes. He toyed with keeping an egg or two from the clutch, but considering the level of his funds at the moment, he figured it may be better to put all three eggs in his shop.
Bryar was certain they would all find good homes.
