Available in the Outlets is a Cookbook item, allowing any character to cook and bake certain "dishes," if you will. The item will probably be more useful to Ranchers, as they do not have as much access to Pokemon Centers that gym challengers and coordinators have, as the majority of the dishes will help with Pokemon recovering their HP and from status ailments. With the cookbook, characters are able to use one to three items to create double the amount of dishes. For example, using one berry will result in two dishes; using three berries will result in six. The cookbook has 20 recipes available, with the basics being created from a combination of the berries that are available on the site. More complicated recipes will use dishes created from the basic recipes. Below is a list of the recipes that can be created with the cookbook. They are under a spoiler in case characters wish to try their hands in experimenting in the kitchen. Beware, if a dish fails, the ingredients will be wasted. { Basic Recipes} - Potion = at least one Oran Berry
- Antidote = at least one Pecha Berry
- Paralyze Heal = at least one Cheri Berry
- Awakening = at least one Chesto Berry
- Ice Heal = at least one Aspear Berry
- Burn Heal = at least one Rawst Berry
{ Advanced Recipes} - Super Potion = at least one Potion and one Sitrus Berry
- Hyper Potion = at least one Super Potion and one Sitrus Berry
- Full Heal = at least a mixture of two of Cheri, Pecha, Chesto, Aspear, and Rawst Berries
- Full Restore = at least one Full Heal and one Super Potion
- Revive = at least one Full Heal and Full Restore
- Lure = at least one Revive and one Sitrus Berry
- Repel = at least one Failed Dish
{ Region Specialties - each heals any status condition and gives 3 Happiness points to Pokemon native to the dish's region (Note that "native" refers to Pokemon found in the original Pokedexes of the regions)} - Kanto's Pewter Crunchies = at least one Lum Berry and Potion
- Johto's Rage Candy Bar = at least one Lum Berry and Awakening
- Hoenn's Lava Cookie = at least one Lum Berry and Burn Heal
- Sinnoh's Old Gateau = at least one Lum Berry and Paralyze Heal
- Unova's Casteliacone = at least one Lum Berry and Ice Heal
- Kalos's Lumiose Galette = at least one Lum Berry and Antidote
- Alola's Big Malasada = at least one Lum Berry and Full Heal
- Galar's Spice Mix = at least one Lum Berry and Sitrus Berry
- Paldea's Sandwich = at least one Lum Berry and Revive
One gift new characters may receive is the Capsule Kit, which allows them to use apricorns to create pokeballs. There are 16 different types of pokeballs that can be crafted with the Capsule Kit, with half being made with one apricorn and the other half being made with a combination of two. Many of these pokeballs cannot be found elsewhere in the Ascua region. Like the cookbook recipes, the apricorn combinations listed below are under a spoiler cut in case characters wish to try to discovering the types of pokeballs the combinations create. Also like the cookbook recipes, failed apricorn combinations will result in wasted ingredients. { Pokeball Recipes} - Pokeball = Gray apricorn
- Heavy Ball = Black apricorn
- Lure Ball = Blue apricorn
- Friend Ball = Green apricorn
- Love Ball = Pink apricorn
- Level Ball = Red apricorn
- Fast Ball = White apricorn
- Moon Ball = Yellow apricorn
- Dusk Ball = Black + Gray apricorns
- Heal Ball = Pink + Green apricorns
- Quick Ball = White + Blue apricorns
- Net Ball = Blue + Red apricorns
- Repeat Ball = Red + Pink apricorns
- Timer Ball = Yellow + White apricorns
- Luxury Ball = Green + Black apricorns
- Great Ball = Gray + Yellow apricorns
