Non-binary, they/them | 19 | Pansexual | Rancher | Kururi Orihara, Durarara!!
Home Region/PC Location: Hoenn/Misty Woods
Description: Cozma stands at 5’8” and is tanned from working outside most of the time. Their figure is lean, but muscled due to their constant exercising. Their hair and eyes are brown, with the hair reaching down to their chin and the eyes being big. They wear contacts to help them see. Their clothes are usually rumpled and unkempt as they work with other Pokemon and they usually wear ripped jeans and t-shirts that are covered up by an oversized purple hoodie with Gengar ears.
Personality: Cozma is a brave person, not shying away when it comes to their ideals and standing up for them, or for anyone and any Pokemon for that matter. They’re not exactly outspoken, but they do have a lot of energy and use that energy to work on their ranch. They’re a big spender and can’t hold their money all that well. If something good catches their eye, they would want to buy it and then their money goes down the drain. Cozma has a bit of a tough attitude, keeping their emotions guarded and not letting discouraging words get to them. Mistakes? They don’t mind making them because in the end they will learn from it and move on. Overall they have a somewhat peppy attitude that is a stark contrast to the Pokemon they raise.
History: Cosima, better known as Cozma, was born as an identical twin to Nerissa in Fallarbor Town. She grew up with her twin side by side and rarely left each other’s side. They were the best of friends when they were a little kid.
She and her twin grew up surrounded by Pokemon. During their summer vacations visiting their dad, she would often go beg for her grandparents also living in Lilycove City to take her to Mt. Pyre. Their first time there was when their twin and them got lost on the mountain. They huddled together until they noticed that there was a rite being held. A bunch of ghost Pokemon were at the rite and it fascinated them that they could coexist with humans, despite how creepy they were. So from then on they wanted to go to Mt. Pyre whenever they were with their father and their grandparents.
Their grandmother in particular talked about the mysterious fairy types she heard about when she lived in Kalos. The child clung to every word and wondered what kind of tricks the fairy type would use on humans. It seemed like ghosts and fairies were not all that different from each other, as their grandmother’s tales often centered around folks disappearing because of the fae. Though their twin was mildly interested in the stories, they weren’t into it like Cozma was.
As the two became teenagers, their interests began to differ and they began to grow apart. Cozma decided to change their name to show that they weren’t entirely feminine and started acting tough, though they still acknowledged that their body was that of a girl. She began to work out and do more physical activities while Nerissa would stay home and draw and paint. Whenever they wanted to bring her sister along in some sort of scheme, she would refuse and the two of them would get into an argument. They often wondered what got the two of them so different from one another when they were perfect companions in the past.
Once they graduated from high school, they parted ways. While Nerissa stayed in Hoenn, they began to work abroad studying ghost types. They grew more into it, taking care of the hallowed grounds that was the Lost Tower and making friends with the ghost types there. But just observing them wasn’t enough for them. So she decided to become a rancher after just a few short months studying under the professor and started taking in ghost types and fairy types, with water types coming in later. They worked as a rancher in Sinnoh for a couple of years until she heard about Gaia Island, a literal paradise for ranchers. Intrigued, they went over to start fresh, keeping a few Pokemon with her on the journey.
Starting Position: Advanced – 3 Pokemon
Other: Cosima prefers to be called “Cozma” by other people. It makes them seem cool.
Cozma has worked as an assistant to Prof. Rowan for a time.
Cozma took water typing for their ranch because there’s so many water Pokemon and they could possibly get rich from raising them. Ghosts and fairies are a given due to their grandmother’s stories and their trips to Mt. Pyre.
Though they don’t show it, Cozma misses their sister a lot and wishes to catch up with her someday.
My member name is CHAOS, and I also play NERISSA MORI.
