Nitrine was in the little laundry room of his home, folding warm towels and rags that had come fresh from the dryer. Beside him, the washer hummed and drummed with activity for the next load. As he folded his laundry, he thought about his first rancher friend on the island. Morgan. It had been a very long time since they'd spoken to each other.
Tossing a kitchen towel into the basket, he pulled out his phone and looked through his contacts to find her name. He sent a text:
To: Morgan Porter
Tagging Morgan Porter . The paragraphs above the actual text was more for exposition because I didn't want Nitrine to be in a no-man's-land doing nobody-cares; don't feel obligated to write something like that if you don't want to, especially not for every post (I sure as heck won't). And I figured if they want to actually switch from texting to a phone call later, that works too, if you want.

How exactly did the capsule kit work?
Morgan was sure she was going to burn holes into the manual of the kit in her attempt to comprehend how one used the machine to turn apricorns into pokeballs. According to the little pamphlet, she could get some Fast Balls and a couple of Heavy Balls, but she wasn't quite sure how...
Her phone rattled against the table as it buzzed with a text message, making her jump. With a deep breath, Morgan glanced at her cell and smiled to herself at seeing who the text was from. After a quick read, Morgan replied:
Tags: @aeranautics, I took WAY too long in trying to figure out how you did the nifty little text bubble before realizing it was the quote setting. xD

Morgan's reply came while he was putting the towels away. Once he'd finished his chore, Nitrine flopped down on the couch to answer it.

Morgan had retreated to the kitchen to get herself a cup of tea to enjoy while scouring the capsule kit manual. Her phone buzzing with another text message from Nitrine was a welcome distraction, and she replied within a few minutes.

Lifting his head, Nitrine looked out of one of the living room windows. It was still the middle of the afternoon, but he knew it would be getting dark in just a few hours. Not today, obviously.

Tags: Morgan Porter, you want to wrap this up soon? This thread has been good for development but I'm running out of stuff to say, heh.

Tags: sure @aeranautics, especially since I've taken a couple of weeks to reply to this. Sorry about that! We can end it with my response, or you can respond another time, if you'd like.
