Before one ventures too far into the desert-like area, there is a battlefield that folks are free to use should they need a space to conduct a proper Pokemon battle. Maintained by the island staff, the battlefield is crafted with hard-packed clay in a beige hue to nearly blend in with the dryer grasses and sandy patches around it, although a small stream does run parallel to the field on its way towards Apricorn Woods. It's regulation-sized and can survive both Pokemon attacks and harsh weather.
